What we do
AI Music Video Generators is an independent editorial site focused on one question: which AI video tools actually hold up when you point them at a piece of music? We publish rankings, head-to-head reviews, and practical guides for creators, musicians, producers, and marketers who need to ship music-first visual content.
How we test
Every tool in our ranking is run through the same fixed test bench so results stay comparable over time. Our bench includes:
- Three reference tracks covering hip-hop, electronic, and lo-fi genres
- Identical prompts across tools where the tool supports prompt-based control
- Identical style references where the tool supports image or reference inputs
- A default export resolution of 1080p and a fixed runtime window per clip
- A second pass with the tool's top-recommended preset to measure best-case output
What we score
Six dimensions, each rated 0–10 by the same reviewer:
- Visual Quality — fidelity, lighting, subject consistency
- Music Sync — how tightly visuals lock to beat, drop, and phrase structure
- Temporal Stability — flicker, morphing, frame-to-frame coherence
- Prompt Adherence — how faithfully the model honours the brief
- Ease of Use — time to first usable output for a new user
- Overall — our editorial judgement of the full experience, not a simple average
Scores are re-audited on a monthly cadence. The last full audit date is published at the top of every ranked page.
What we do not do
- We do not accept payment in exchange for higher placement on any ranked page.
- We do not publish unverified pricing or feature claims pushed by vendors.
- We do not use brand-supplied demo reels as scoring evidence.
- We do not benchmark tools we have not personally run through the test bench.
